Xbox Game Pass August: Grounded 2, Wuchang and Tony Hawk Headline the New Additions
Xbox Game Pass August brings a powerful set of new games for all tastes. This month, Microsoft introduces a survival sequel, a new soulslike experience, and a nostalgic skateboarding remaster. Whether you prefer solo adventures or online multiplayer, August has you covered.
Grounded 2 – Early Access
Obsidian Entertainment returns with Grounded 2, the anticipated sequel to its backyard survival hit. Available in early access from August 6, it expands the base-building and combat with richer biomes, new insects, and improved co-op mechanics.
The game now supports dynamic weather, seasonal events, and branching storylines, pushing the sandbox genre to new levels. Xbox players will enjoy seamless multiplayer syncing and better AI pathing across all modes.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Arriving as a day-one launch on Game Pass, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a dark, soulslike RPG set in a supernatural Ming dynasty. It combines tight melee combat, boss-heavy encounters, and branching progression systems in a hauntingly beautiful world.
Created in Unreal Engine 5, Wuchang offers cinematic graphics and supports both 60FPS Performance Mode and 4K Fidelity Mode on Series X. Expect deep lore and punishing difficulty.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remastered
The final major addition this month is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remastered. Updated with enhanced physics, new animations, and online multiplayer, the package revives two of the most iconic skateboarding titles ever made.
With full controller remapping, split-screen support, and a dynamic trick system, it’s a love letter to fans and a perfect entry point for newcomers.
